There is an interesting incidence behind the creation of today’s finest hotel of India, Taj Palace and Tower. This was started when Jamsetji Tata was refused to get entry to the luxurious hotel of Mumbai of that time i.e., Watson Hotel, as this was open for white people only after this they started to build a luxurious hotel for themselves. Cost of construction at that time was 421 Million Rupees.

This hotel comprises two buildings one was created in 1903 with the royal touch and second one build in 1970 with 23 floors. This hotel got the look of traditional Indian culture and royal British touch as well. Grand staircases, chandeliers, balconies everyone telling you the masterpiece.
